THRONEUM biography:
THRONEUM was established in summer 1996 under the name THRONE. In July 1998 the band entered the studio so as to record their first official demo "Beyond The Numbers And Creatures". There was Death/Dark Metal full of blackened feelings included on this tape.
The period 1998-2000 was a pretty dead time for the band, however they played a few gigs with a drum-machine and in that time they changed the name into THRONEUM, because a band called THRONE had already existed.
In July 2000 trio entered the studio again and recorded its second demo entitled "The Underground Storms Eternally". Inspired by metal releases like BLASPHEMY "Fallen Of Angel Of Doom", DARKTHRONE "A Blaze In The Northern Sky", DEATH "Scream Bloody Gore", HELLHAMMER "Apocalyptic Raids", MAYHEM "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas", ASPHYX "The Rack", SODOM "In The Sign Of Evil" etc., THRONEUM created its act of darkened Old Death Metal.
In July 2001 THRONEUM recorded new stuff for split CD with Mexican THE LIGHT OF THE DARK entitled "Brotherhood In Darkness". In October 2001 band entered the studio again so as to record material for their full length debut CD "Old Death's Lair".
In March 2002 THRONEUM has played mini-tour with WITCHMASTER & ANIMA DAMNATA.
In July 2002 there was recorded material for split CD with ANIMA DAMNATA "Gods of Abhorrence", released on Pagan Records in the fall of 2002. The next fall sees the recording of second album "Mutiny of Death" (out in January 2004 on Pagan Records).
